Any student wishing to turn in a missing assignment has ten days to return the assignment from the original due date.

Students who have turned in their Welcome Letter and who have maintained an average of at least 75% will participate in food labs.​

Welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences

Family and Consumer Sciences is the new name for the old course Home Economics.  This is not just a cooking class anymore!  This 9 weeks, your student will be introduced to the seven areas of Family and Consumer Sciences.  Those areas include: Family, Community, and Leadership, Interior Design, Food, Nutrition and Wellness, Consumer and Finance, Early Childhood Education, Fashion Design, and Culinary Arts.  This is an introductory course to life skills.  Your student will not become an expert in any of these areas, but rather gain an understanding of the areas and possible career choices related to Family and Consumer Sciences.
